More about Miss Kirstie!

original.jpeg

Hi! I am Miss Kirstie. I have always loved music and was blessed to be exposed to music from a young age, singing in church choirs and playing in bands and orchestras. I play an ever-growing variety of instruments currently including: piano, clarinet, accordion, violin, recorder, organ, voice, cello, flute, concertina, harmonica, kalimba, mandolin and various percussion instruments. Yes, music is my passion! Besides music, I'm also known by my students as an animal and technology lover.

Education

I hold a Master of Music Education degree from Boston University, a Bachelor of Music degree with a minor in Piano Pedagogy, and a certificate in Music Composition from Valley City State University. Throughout my academic career, I've had the privilege of studying under distinguished professors and renowned experts in the field of music pedagogy.
